You’ve come to Reminderband to design something for your event but with so many awesome options, you’re at a crossroads. Don’t worry! We’re way ahead of it and we’ve already thought up some helpful resources so you can pin down your colors and sizes for your wristbands–whatever the occasion.
First up, let’s talk colors. If you are designing something for a cause, event, fundraiser, or awareness, and you’re just not quite sure what colors to go with, we’ve got a great reference point for you. Some causes and awareness movements have a commonly associated color, but some situations are less obvious. Our Color Guide gives a basic run-through of our traditional stock colors and the general moods and meaning of each color, to help you decide how to best convey your message.
So, you’ve nailed the color and look of your wristbands; stellar work! Now, what sizes to choose? That’ll depend on who will be wearing them. Our recommendation is that most folks up to about 190 lbs can fit comfortably in a Medium-sized wristband. Adult males or folks who want a bit more room on the wrist would probably be better served with a Large. Elementary school age kids can usually fit in a Small with no issues.
And YES, you CAN mix your sizes within your order at no extra cost!
If you want to get a better feel for exactly how big each size really is, you can use our sizing guide. This will allow you to cut out a strip and fit it around the wrist to determine the best sizes to order. You can view and download it here.
As always, let us know if you have questions. We’re here to help you succeed in making your design work. Happy band building!
Today we have just a quick little FYI for those who are thinking of adding that extra special something to their wristband design. As you may already know, we offer a massive assortment of free clipart right on our website. Did you know that we also have the option of imprinting your own artwork or logo right on your wristbands, keychains, or Tyvek? Now you know! Let’s talk a bit about that.
One of the most common uses for a Reminderband is to memorialize someone who has passed. There are quite a few design options from which to choose. Some folks find that it adds just the right amount of class to upload a signature of their loved one for the band to be a more personal memento to family and friends. Here’s how to make it happen:
Take a clear picture of the signature you’d like to use. It works best on white paper, with a head-on angle that’s well-lit. You may want to make it bolder and more visible by tracing over it. Once you get to the second design step, just click to add artwork. You’ll notice there’s an option to upload your own image.
Simply attach the picture of that signature and proceed to finish placing your order–we’ll take care of the rest!
As always, if you have questions about any aspect of the design process, our band specialists are available to help!
Here, at Reminderband, one of the questions we’re often asked (besides why our headquarters is located in Northern Utah, where the air hurts your face) is “What does debossed mean?” You may be reading this and wondering the same thing because, like a man at the hardware store, you didn’t want to ask for help. Well today, you’ve got it easy, because with the myriad of customization options we have on our site, making a decision can be a little overwhelming! We understand, and we’re here to help.
Well today, you’ve got it easy, because we’ve got the answer. With the myriad of customization options we have on our site, making a decision can be a little overwhelming. We understand, and we’re here to help.
Reminderband offers three main imprint styles for our products:
That means if you select a Classic or Contour band, which has a debossed imprint style, any text or artwork you select will be indented. If you like to live on the wild side you can add a color-fill to that imprint to give your wristband a glorious contrast so breathtaking, it’ll make people weep (ok, that may have been a slight exaggeration, but you get the idea).
Debossed bands come with the most bang for your buck, but if it’s multicolor imprints you’re after, you might consider doing a printed wristband (or “silkscreen”, as the cool kids sometimes call it) which allows us to get razor-sharp detail in your design for a crisp effect that engraving can’t achieve.
It really depends on your design, and what you plan on doing with your wristbands. We recommend testing all the options with our state-of-the-art builder and viewing this infographic to help you decide.
