At Reminderband we put precedent on fast and reliable shipping.

We ship our wristbands via USPS or FedEx. If receiving shipping via FedEx, you must have a physical address as FedEx doesn’t ship to P.O. boxes. To ensure proper delivery, we do require a signature. FedEx usually leaves a door tag notifying you of the delivery attempt if no one is available to sign. Simply follow the instructions on the door tag, and FedEx will leave the package at your door at the next delivery attempt. After three delivery attempts, FedEx will return your order to Reminderband. If you would rather have the package left without having to sign for it, you can go into your local FedEx office at any time and sign a FedEx release waiver.

For International orders, we offer FedEx International Priority which gets the order to our international customers in about 14 days from the time the order is placed.

Use our quick shipping calculator to estimate the shipping costs of your order.

“Summer is almost here…….time for family reunions!A great way to unify your family is to provide every family member a wristband from www.reminderband.com.  For price, durability, and convenience, silicone wristbands cannot be beat.  As a bonus, they are waterproof.  What summer activity doesn’t include boating, swimming, or a water fight?!Utilize the tips below in formulating your wristband:

1.  Put a special phrase on the band that has significance or can take on significance for the group.
– It could be clever such as “Made in USA with German Parts”.
– It can be a word that has meaning to the family such as: “Hansen Legacy – 2013”
– It can state the number of people in the family such as “JOHNSON – 52 Strong.”
– It could state geography such as “BENSON – 8 states, 2 continents”.

     – It could simply state the name,  and year such as “LARSEN – 2013″2.  Have one unifying color for the whole group OR3.  If a large group, have one color for each family unit. Having one color per family unit helps others keep track of who belongs to which family.

4. Use the bands to play games such as the following:

– Wristband Toss – player tosses the band and tries to get it to loop over a water bottle

– Wristband Bottle Lift Relay – Family units compete by tying string to four areas of the band.  The group works in unison by pulling the band to make a large enough circle that it can wrap around a water bottle.  Once wrapped around the bottle, the group transports the bottle to a ‘Finish Line’

– Wristband Roll – See who can roll the band farthest

– Wristband Rubberband Contest – Place band on thumb and pull back with other hand and let go.  See who can flip it the farthest.

– Wristband Word Contest – Break the family up into groups or individuals.  See who can make the most words from the letters on the band.  Clarify if they can use the letters from the inside of the band or not

5.  Make wristbands a tradition for your family, and encourage members to wear their bands from previous years.  After a while, you’ll have members looking like the young woman below.  🙂

Cancer survivor Ben Teller isn’t giving cancer the time of day. In fact his non profit makes that quite clear! Rightly named “Cuck Fancer” Teller’s foundation fundraises to cancer awareness.
When Teller found out he had cancer again he was already a two time cancer survivor and finishing up his fourth year at the University of California at Irvine. He came home to a voicemail from the doctor; unable to fathom what was coming next.

Teller and his mother listened to the recording that said, “Ben, we want you to know that we found something abnormal on your scan.”

Teller had already battled cancer at ages 18 and 21 and had his life stopped by Hodgkins Lymphoma; the possibility that finally living normal life might be taken away didn’t even cross his mind. Then the doctor told him they had found a mass, on the left side of his chest off of his heart. Teller recalls having things due for school; his mother sadly informing him he wouldn’t be going back. Teller took the news with stride and no one had yet to utter the word “cancer”; after he woke from his surgery his outlook changed.

Teller recalls the day of the surgery, “I was in really high spirits, I’m at the hospital, not worried about the anesthesia, I wake up…I have a tube in my chest, I’m not breathing on my own, I have a seven-inch scar on the side of my chest, I have a tube hanging out of me, and I don’t know what’s going on.  I have zero idea and I’m in so much pain, I can’t talk, I’m having an allergic reaction to the morphine, and it hits me, this is serious.  That’s when I realized that [the cancer] was going to do something to me physically, and that’s when it started to affect me mentally.” – (New University)

This was Teller’s turning point; the point at which his foundation began to blossom. He started by selling cancer bracelets and grew immensely from there. We at Reminderband are honored to be his wristband company of choice.

Teller said, “Well, as I was looking for companies to make my bracelets, the top hit on google with the best customer satisfaction was Reminderband. I was introduced to a man named Sean, who I still order my bracelets through today. We talked about what I wanted, and we sent a few samples back and forth and finally came up with the lime green with the white writing. It has been a huge hit amongst the cancer community. The color of my disease is lime green, so it was fitting that Reminderband had the perfect color to match. I have never had one problem with Reminderband and will continue to bring my business to them.”

Teller’s strength, ambition and goals for the future has brought him toe to toe with stars like Halle Berry, Will Ferrell and Ellen Degeneres. Teller has decided that cancer will not control his future. Reminderband greatly admires this survivor and send our love and support!

Summer is swift upon us! Do you have a family reunion brewing for the year? Family reunions can be exausting, stressful and quite the chore to plan! It is also so very hard to keep all those families organized. We are here to help. Martha Stewart has created quite the webpage to help you plan your best family reunion yet- http://www.marthastewart.com/348761/throwing-family-reunion#/349274

Reminderband would also love to help you plan! Below are steps to help you create your perfect custom wristband! A great way to keep all those family member organized. You can have the Jones’ in red and the Smith’s in blue; then you can really know who won that potato sac race!

  • Text and design. What is the text and design you would like the bracelet to have? Be sure to have a high-resolution copy of the artwork you want included. Also, each side of the bracelet can hold up to 25 characters.
  • Wristband type. There are standard wristbands, as well as heart-shaped wristbands, dual-layer wristbands, silkscreen wristbands and textured wristbands.
  • Color. Choose from Reminderbrand’s 32 standard colors. However, if you desire to have wristbands of a particular color, Reminderbrand can create custom-colored silicone bands. There is a minimum requirement of 200 units for custom-colored orders. You also have the option for color combinations and multiple colors marbleized together.
  • Specifications. Wristbands come in different widths (.4” or .5”) and circumferences (5 7/8” for children, 7 3/8” or 8 3/8” for adults. There are also Phat wristbands that are 1inch wide.

–          Determine the number of silicone bracelets you need. Remember, the more you order, the lower the cost per unit. Ask, what is the purpose of the wristbands? What market is it trying to reach? How wide is the scope that the wristbands are intending to reach? If these are for your employees, how many employees are currently in the company and are expected to be added to the team in the near future?

–          Consider the timeline. If you need the wristbands for a particular event, it will be helpful to order them well in advance. Depending on the size of the orders, as well as the type of bracelet being ordered, it’s best to order at least 4 weeks in advance, although standard orders usually have a 1-week turnaround time. Color-fill debossing and very large orders will require an additional week. This will give you with extra time allowances for any possible glitches.

Our valued customer told us why they loved our bands for their troops.

Reminderbands are a great way to show support for our troops. We purchased them when one of our police officers left for Iraq. We had his name and badge number put on them and sold them to relatives, employees, friends, etc. They were a huge success. Reminderbands was very prompt shipping our order and everything was received as ordered! We will use them again! “

Going back to science-geek days, many people may wonder what indeed silicone technology is. A simple answer is that silicone is chemically a semi-inorganic polymer; it is flexible, heat stable and water resistant. Due to its vast versatility, silicone is used in a wide range of products, from baking supplies to wearable jewelry and bracelets.

Silicone is inexpensive, durable, comfortable and extremely colorful. The latest fashion craze among youngsters, tweens and teenagers are awareness silicone wristbands. Whether drawing attention to disease, cancer cures, environmental awareness or societal causes, silicone wristbands provide the ideal medium to give causes a fashion-friendly voice.

Originally made popular by Lance Armstrong’s LIVESTRONG cancer awareness campaign, by 2005, it is estimated that more than 32 million people worldwide were sporting yellow LIVESTRONG bracelets. Soon, other charities and organizations followed suit, entering this unique market niche that appealed to both children and adults alike.

One of the most famous cancer awareness organizations, The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, designed a pink cancer bracelet that stated “Sharing the Promise,” which was an immediate nationwide hit. Whether man or woman, people were lining up to wear pink in support of breast cancer research, providing much-needed attention for mothers, sisters, aunts, daughters, granddaughters, wives, girlfriends and friends suffering from this deadly cancer.

Meanwhile, with the onset of 9/11 and a looming Middle Eastern warfront, military supporters created yellow “Support Our Troops” rubber wristbands, helping raise awareness about supporting our military in times of need, when they are sacrificing their lives on enemy lines. Soon, AIDS foundation groups and even the Thailand Tsunami had their own wave of custom made wristbands, promoting awareness and knowledge about their specific causes.

As silicone wristbands can easily be purchased online, especially through reputable retailers such as Reminderband®, this makes them extremely economical for organizations, groups, schools and churches to help raise awareness about donations, without spending a small fortune on merchandise advertising. Reminderband® works with organizations to create entirely unique pre-printed messages, styles, colors and logos that helps them stand out among the crowd of awareness bracelets.

This simple, yet highly functional and durable fashion accessory, has helped raised millions of dollars nationwide for popular causes. Helping to change the face of America and how charities advertise their individual causes and promote their organizations, silicone wristbands have forever changed the advertising market.

It is common for college students to roll out of messy twin beds and groan about class and the Ramen noodles they will probably eat that night. Before we groan we should realize that one in four girls in developing nations never gets a chance to go to school. Here at the Reminderband offices we found this astonishing and wanted to help. She’s The First is a not-for-profit that sponsors girls’ education in the developing world, helping them be the first in their families to graduate. In the process, She’s the First fosters leadership and self-awareness in young Americans, by inspiring them to lead creative fundraisers and correspond with sponsored students. Their efforts shape a rising generation of well-educated global leaders, future philanthropists, and cross-cultural communicators.

We have sponsored She’s The First with custom wristbands to promote their Social Media Camp; TYWLS Explorers 2012. At camp they are teaching girls of NYC to use social media to spread awareness, build support and “be the first” at anything they desire! For more information about the charity visit http://www.shesthefirst.org/ .
